Here are three lessons I took away from our discussion:
- The power of grit: While you may be blessed with opportunties that fall in your lap at times, the one factor you can always control is the amount of time and effort you invest in your mission.
- Get to profitability: Choosing to reach profitability early, rather than chasing growth at any cost, preserves long-term value and autonomy.
- Know thyself: Deep self-awareness is a critical capability because it ensures your work remains in alignment with your true purpose and that you’re leverageing your most competitive skills.
