About Alex Rascanu
I’m passionate about helping individuals and organizations reach their potential through strategic guidance, practical insight, and community connection.
Over the past 15+ years, I’ve worked at the intersection of public policy, stakeholder engagement, revenue development, and social impact. My career has included leadership roles in government, non-profits, and the private sector, where I’ve designed and implemented programs that empower people, strengthen communities, and drive innovation.
From advising on intellectual property policy and health data infrastructure at the Ontario Ministry of Colleges and Universities, to coordinating stakeholder engagement on accessibility and inclusion at a national level, to leading large-scale workforce development initiatives across Ontario and Nova Scotia, I’ve consistently focused on helping people grow and systems improve.
In addition to my advisory and program management work, I actively build spaces—both in-person and online—for people to learn, connect, and grow. I host free historical walking tours of Toronto #ExperienceTO, produce podcasts that explore career development, accessibility, and personal growth, and publish a weekly newsletter full of actionable life lessons.
If you’re looking for practical, thoughtful perspectives on personal and professional development, you’re in the right place.
